Guanshanhu Park, or Guanshan Lake Park, (观山湖公园) is nestled in the northwest of Guiyang City, covering an expansive area of over 5,500 acres, with approximately 4,160 acres dedicated to lush forests. Guanshanhu Park is located on both sides of the Guanshan Bridge, situated in the central area of Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. The precise address is Lincheng East Road, Jinyang New District, Guanshanhu District, Guiyang City. To get there, you can choose one of the following ways:

Bus: Take bus 29, 47, 48, 111, 208, 263, 280, 290, 321, or 702 and get off at Guanshanhu Park Stop (观山湖公园站).

Metro: The closest metro station to the park is Guanshanhu Park (观山湖公园) on Line 1. After getting out of the station, you will be standing right at the north entrance.


Highlights of Guanshanhu Park

Central Plaza

At the heart of the park lies the expansive Central Plaza, covering 70,000 square meters and capable of accommodating over 20,000 people. This dynamic space has hosted significant events such as the National Traditional Ethnic Minority Sports Games and the 2012 Guiyang Guanshanhu Park Spring Lantern Festival Temple Fair. Adjacent to the plaza is a 5,000-square-meter lotus pond wetland. The park management has enriched the wetland with a plethora of lotus flowers, creating a stunning display when they bloom in early May. Wetland Along the Lake

Two wetland ponds bordering Guanshan Lake are encircled by a 400-meter wooden boardwalk and pavilions. Adjacent to the activity area is a large blue maze, providing a delightful and adventurous space for young explorers. Additionally, the amusement area includes service points, ensuring timely maintenance of play equipment for safety while offering a range of culinary delights for families to enjoy.
