Compared to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, the Dujiangyan Panda Valley (more) is much less crowded, allowing you to play with the active giant pandas in a semi-natural setting, closer to its original life. Here, you can get up close to these adorable creatures and admire their charming poses, making all your worries seem to disappear. In addition to giant pandas, you’ll also encounter many other rare animals, such as golden monkeys, giving you a chance to experience the wonders of nature. Moreover, Panda Valley offers a variety of fun activities and exhibitions that help you better understand the habits of giant pandas and conservation efforts.

After our time at the Panda Valley, we’ll journey to the enchanting Jiezi Ancient Town(more), which is a hidden gem where time seems to stand still, inviting you to wander through its charming alleyways adorned with traditional architecture. As the sun sets, the warm glow of lanterns illuminates the cobblestone paths, creating a magical atmosphere that feels like stepping into a storybook.

Chengdu - Tal der Großen Pandas - Jiezi Antike Stadt - Chengdu

I’ll pick you up from your hotel in Chengdu, and together we’ll embark on a delightful one-hour drive to the Dujiangyan Giant Panda Valley. Once we arrive, you’ll get to explore the Giant Panda Habitat and the adorable Panda Kindergarten, where you can see the pandas happily thriving in a semi-natural setting.

After soaking in all the panda cuteness, we’ll head over to the charming Jiezi Ancient Town. Once our discovery wraps up, I’ll take you back to Chengdu. And if you’re up for more fun, we can either plan your own activities or dive into the local nightlife together. It’s all about making the most of your day!
