Einige Konzepte des chinesischen Taoismus

What is the meaning and what it is all about Taoism, which is a philosophical and spiritual tradition.

That is coming from China and the Mount Qingcheng is considered to be one of the birthplace of this tradition.

At the core you have this concept of the Tao which we can translate it as the way or the path. And it’s considered to be the fundamental nature of the universe.

The source of everything and the ultimate reality beyond realistic distinctions. Other people might call this god.

Another concept of Taoism is the “Wu wei” , which is basically the “non-action”.

It suggests to achieve any goal without any effort or even without action just by aligning with the natural flow of life. This doesn’t mean to be lazy or to be passive.

But simply to align with this nature flow of life just to take spontaneous action without really forcing things.

One very famous principle of Taoism is the “Yin” and “Yang”.

The opposite forces of life basically represents the quality of the opposites that are also interconnected and in dependent at the same time.

Think about the black and the white, the day and the night, the hot and the cold, the male and the female, the active and the passive, the fire and the water and on and on and on.

There are so many practical examples in our world of the two forces of the “Yin” and “Yang”.

And the key is to balance those two forces. Because we always need both of the forces.

Another principle of Taoism is humility and modesty.

Taoist philosophy encourages you to be humble,to be modest and to be simple. And to avoid striving for power, for wealth and for excessive desires.

Because it will destroy your inner peace. And your inner harmony and to be honest.
