Wuyuezhai is situated in the northwestern mountainous region of Lingshou County, Hebei Province, China. It is located approximately 110 kilometers to the south of the provincial capital, Shijiazhuang, and is adjacent to the renowned Buddhist pilgrimage site, Mount Wutai, to the north.

Because of its relatively remote location, there is no express coach or railway to transport you to Wuyuezhai. You can only drive yourself or sign up for a travel agency to enjoy this scenic area.

Transportation: Direct buses from the city to Wuyuezhai are available, with tickets costing around a dozen yuan. Buses depart from Yunheqiao Station, starting at 6:40 am and 7:40 am daily. The journey takes approximately three hours, including a stop at Lingshou Station for a break or additional passengers.

Return Trip: Buses back to the city depart at noon from the checkpoint, and tickets can be purchased directly before boarding.

Unterkunft: At the mountain’s summit, there are wooden cabins and tents available for accommodation. Visitors can stay overnight and wait for the sunrise the next day.

Scenic Highlights: The cloud sea at the mountaintop is highly recommended. Along the way, there are numerous sightings of small squirrels.

Facilities and Conditions: The facilities in the scenic area are relatively old. There are about 3-4 restrooms along the route, but they are in relatively poor conditions.
