The guide would pick you up from the Chengdu hotel and take you to Emei. The whole journey is about 158 kilometers and about 3 hours. At noon, enjoy an authentic Emei snack banquet nearby. After lunch, set off to visit Leidongping in the Jinding Scenic Area of ​​Mount Emei, and take the Jinding round-trip cableway. Arrived to visit the Golden Hall, Silver Hall, and Bronze Hall of the Jinding Huazang Temple.

Then take the cableway down the temple and return to the Leidongping parking lot. Take the scenic area tour bus down the mountain to enjoy dinner. After dinner, the guide would take you to the hotel.

We will depart from Chengdu and travel along the rural landscape of the Western Sichuan Plain, a picturesque drive of about two hours to see rice paddies, vineyards and tea trees. Afterwards, we climbed up the walkway to the head of the Buddha and stood on the shoulder of the Buddha for a photo, which really made you feel small.

Continuing down the narrow stone steps to the foot of the Buddha, standing on the huge foot of the statue to look up at its full view, the feeling really cannot be described in words. This perspective will not only let you appreciate the details of the Big Buddha, but also let you feel the power of the ancient wisdom and faith gathered behind it. Apart from the Big Buddha, we will also visit the Lingyun Temple and the museum to learn about the story behind this Buddha statue. Your guide will take you through the history of the Big Buddha carving and explain its significance in Buddhist culture.
