Heaven Lake
The lake itself, also known as Zhujia Mountain Reservoir, was constructed in 1978. Visitors who enter the scenic area through the main gate at the foot of the mountain can follow a stone path that meanders alongside a babbling stream. The soothing sound of the stream accompanies you as you walk through the forest, occasionally treated to the sight of cascading waterfalls.
Vlog about Mulan Heaven Lake
Consejos útiles resumidos a partir de reseñas
Performance Shows: Mulan Heaven Lake offers approximately five processional performance shows, all centered around the story of Mulan. These performances are relatively short in duration. Look for signs indicating the performance schedule as you move through the area. At the Great Heaven Lake, you may witness aerial performances taking place in the sky. While the performances are entertaining, they may not be exceptional.
Activities in the Lake: It’s not recommended to engage in the activities offered within Mulan Heaven Lake. Visitors suggest that the facilities are not as good as those at Mulan Grassland.
Hiking Experience: Although the mountain is not particularly high, the terrain is steep, making the hike to the Great Heaven Lake a bit tiring. However, the journey offers pleasant scenery throughout. Crossing the final steep staircase provides a rewarding view of the clear waters of the Heavenly Lake.
Cable Car and Boat Rides: The cable car station is located near the Great Heaven Lake. From here, visitors can also take a boat ride. Continuing further uphill, you’ll come across the Mulan Museum and some mountain villages. Returning to the lower area can be done via a sightseeing car ride to the boat boarding area. However, it’s not recommended to take the boat ride due to its fast speed and loud noise. Instead, consider taking a leisurely stroll along the shores of the Great Heaven Lake, where you can enjoy the peaceful sounds of the water.
