This all-inclusive private tour will depart from Chengdu and visit two UNESCO World Heritage sites in Sichuan: Mount Qingcheng and the Dujiangyan Irrigation System.
Mount Qingcheng (click to learn more)：It is one of the Taoist holy places. Walking along the mountain path, you will come across ancient Taoist temples such as Sanqing Palace and Tianshi Cave. The mountains are covered with dense green forests, crystal clear streams, and layers of mist shrouding the whole place, making you feel as if you are in an otherworldly place. You’ll love this: the amazing martial arts of Mount Qingcheng actually inspired Kung Fu Panda 3!
Dujiangyan (click to learn more)：It is the oldest damless irrigation system in the world. Built in 256, Chengdu was constantly threatened by floods due to the flooding of the Min River. As a result, the Shu officials Li Bing and his son decided to build an irrigation system upstream on the Min River. After a long period of research and years of hard work by the local people, the great Dujiangyan Irrigation Project was completed. Today, the project plays an important role in draining floodwaters, irrigating farmland and providing water for more than 50 cities in Sichuan Province. It is the world’s earliest damless irrigation system still in operation.

Chengdu-Qingcheng Mountain-Dujiangyan-Chengdu
Your guide will pick you up bright and early from your Chengdu hotel, ready to whisk you away on a scenic journey to Qingcheng Mountain. Located 70 kilometers from the city, the ride takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, with stunning views to set the tone for your day of adventure.
In the afternoon, you’ll head to the legendary Dujiangyan, a short 30-45 minute drive away. Here, you’ll explore the incredible Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project, an ancient engineering marvel. After your tour, the guide will bring you back to Chengdu, where you’re free to plan your own evening or dive into Chengdu's lively nightlife with your guide!
