Erhai Park, Dali - Billets, heures d'ouverture, emplacement et points forts

Erhai Park (洱海公园) is located in Dali City, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, serving as the gateway to exploring the Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake scenic area. Covering an area of approximately 57 hectares, with a water area of 71 hectares, it stands as the largest and most well-equipped comprehensive park in Dali City.
The park features an elliptical hill known locally as “Tuanshan” due to its shape, thus earning the name Tuanshan Park. Lush vegetation adorns both the hillside and the foot of the mountain, while towers, halls, and pavilions complement each other, creating a picturesque landscape. Various facilities within the park include the Haixin Pavilion Corridor, swimming pool, Wanghai Tower promenade, zoo, botanical garden, flower garden, fishing platform, and amusement park, offering visitors a diverse range of leisure and recreational activities.
One highlight of the park is the Baihua Garden, located south of the Wanghai Tower (Lake Viewing Tower), where a riot of colorful flowers bloom in abundance, presenting a breathtaking sight. To the north of the Wanghai Tower, the Observation Sea Corridor features 300 steps of blue stone, over 9 meters wide, resembling a waterfall cascading down, leading directly to the beach in the central part of the park, providing visitors with an excellent vantage point to admire the beauty of Erhai Lake.
Erhai Park not only boasts stunning scenery but also holds significant cultural relics. Erhai Lake, with its three islands, four peninsulas, five lakes, and nine bays, is hailed as the “Pearl of the Plateau” and is considered the main birthplace of the Bai ethnic group. Numerous Neolithic sites have been discovered on the hillsides and terraces surrounding Erhai Lake, bearing witness to the footsteps of the Bai ancestors as they progressed from ancient times to the civilized era. Therefore, Erhai Park serves not only as a showcase of natural beauty but also as a platform for the inheritance and display of Bai culture.
