The best thing about this place is the perfect combination of natural scenery and ancient town style, surrounded by green mountains and green water, the whole ancient town gives people a feeling of special tranquility, really a bit of ‘paradise’ flavour.

The old town retains a lot of western Sichuan residential, walking in the old streets, both sides are the kind of wooden old houses, green tile roof, look very sense of age. Especially by the river, those footstools, built on the hillside and waterfront are very charming. You can walk along the river, listening to the sound of gurgling water, watching the clear river flowing slowly, the whole person will feel super relaxed. Liujiang Ancient Town is also particularly quaint, everyone’s pace of life is very slow, especially in the morning market, the locals sell home-grown vegetables and fruits, it feels like coming to a completely different world.
