Tantoushan Island is located in the eastern waters where Daduyang meets Maotouyang, in Shipu Town, Xiangshan County, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. It lies southwest of Nantian Island, approximately 37.5 kilometers north of Dancheng Town in Xiangshan County, and 8 kilometers away from Shipu Town.
Ferry departures from Shipu Port to Tantoushan Island are scheduled at 8:00, 10:00, 13:30, and 15:30, with return trips from Tantoushan departing at 9:00, 11:00, 14:30, and 16:30. The round-trip journey takes about 40 minutes. The schedule of these ferries may vary according to the number of passengers on the island each day, so it’s advisable for those wishing to visit the island in the morning to purchase tickets as early as possible.
