The school operated for a span of 46 years, leaving behind a legacy that is deeply embedded in the cultural and educational history of the region. The architecture of the former site exudes an ancient charm, with its main structure comprised of two quadrangles.
The first quadrangle, situated in the front courtyard, features a grand hall adorned with a plaque bearing the inscription “Dade Theater,” a left wing with the plaque “Dade Academy,” a right wing with the plaque “Ice Jar Residence,” and an imposing entrance gate. The second quadrangle, located in the rear courtyard, houses a hall with plaques displaying the principles of “Good Learning,” “Diligence,” and “Shame Awareness.” Within this space, the school’s history is exhibited, recounting its significant contributions.
In front of the hall, on a raised platform, stand statues of Wang Ruofei and Huang Qisheng, and to the right, a memorial stone inscribed with “Do Not Forget May 7th.” On the left side of the hall stands a one-story building exhibiting the works of Xie Xiaosi and Liu Shuhua.
