How to get to Disneyland from Shanghai airport?
There are two airports in Shanghai: Hongqiao International Airport is located in the west suburb, while Pudong International Airport is located in the east. Both of them are connected by various public transport and you can reach Disneyland by the following transportation options:
From Shanghai Pudong International Airport:
- Disney Shuttle Bus Line 4: Upon exiting Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 of Shanghai Pudong Airport, you’ll find the convenient Shuttle Bus Line 4 directly to Shanghai Disneyland. This hassle-free option requires no transfers, making it a convenient choice for travelers.
- Bus + Metro: Take Line 2 of the metro at Pudong International Airport Station (浦东国际机场站). Head towards Guanglan Road (广兰路), ride for four stops and disembark at Chuansha Station (川沙站). From there, transfer to bus route 50 heading to Disneyland. Although involving multiple transfers, this method ensures a smooth journey to Disneyland, taking about 1 hour and costing 50 RMB
- Private Transfer Service: You can also choose the private transfer service provided by professional drivers, which will take you directly from Pudong Airport to Shanghai Disneyland at a reasonable price. This option is particularly appropriate if you are traveling with a lot of luggage or kids who are already exhausted from the long flight.
From Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport:
- Metro: Upon exiting the airport, walk to the nearby metro station. Take Line 10 towards Xinjiangwancheng (新江湾城方向) and alight at the University of Transportation Station (交通大学站). Transfer to Line 11 towards Disneyland and disembark at the Disneyland Station. Despite requiring a transfer, this option is economical and efficient, taking 1 hour and 10 minutes and costing 7 RMB.
- Taxi: Opt for a taxi directly from Hongqiao Airport to Disneyland. While this option may incur higher costs, it offers unmatched convenience and speed, eliminating the need for transfers.
