Xifeng Hot Spring is located in Wenquan Town, Xifeng County, with a distance of 111 kilometers from Guiyang City, 81 kilometers from Zunyi City, and just 41 kilometers from the county seat of Xifeng in Guizhou Province.

To reach Xifeng Hot Spring, visitors can start their journey from the Provincial Sports Stadium Long-distance Bus Station in downtown Guiyang. Board a long-distance bus bound for Xifeng, and upon arrival, transfer to the dedicated shuttle bus headed for Nanshan Hot Spring.

The mineral composition of Xifeng Hot Spring has been officially recognized as a “radon spring containing strontium and biased silicic acid of heavy carbonate calcium type.” This unique classification places it among the select few globally and establishes it as one of China’s prominent natural sources of high-quality medicinal and potable mineral water. The spring contains a variety of beneficial trace elements for the human body, including radioactive element radon. The water temperature remains stable between 53-56 degrees Celsius, earning Xifeng Hot Spring the well-deserved reputation of being a superior thermal mineral spring, often compared to the renowned Vichy Springs in France.

Breathtaking Landscapes

Surrounded by a provincial-level forest park, Xifeng Hot Spring boasts abundant lush vegetation and breathtaking landscapes, featuring eight major scenic spots including jungles, caves, waterfalls, and bridges. The Tiantai Jungle, classified as a pristine forest, covers a total area of 505.8 hectares, harboring a diverse range of famous trees like nanmu and gingko. The park also houses over ten precious medicinal herbs, including tianma, duzhong, and bazhuajinlong, as well as various wildlife such as mountain goats, foxes, and owls.
