Crowds and Wait Times: On holidays, there are many people waiting to ride the cableway, and you may need to queue for up to two hours. However, the crossing of the river takes only 10 minutes. It’s recommended to queue at the South Station as there are fewer people.
Ticket Purchase: Tickets for the Yangtze River Cableway can only be purchased on the same day, starting from 7:45 a.m.
Ticket Type: When purchasing tickets, avoid buying round-trip tickets. Exiting the station and re-entering the queue for the return trip will consume a lot of time.
