Hey, Heluogou is a super stunning place! Located in Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan, it is a beautiful natural area known for its spectacular glaciers. The Hailuogou glacier is known as the ‘modern glacier’ and you can see the magnificence of the glacier up close and personal, while in the summer months, the small lakes formed by the melting snow and ice are breathtakingly beautiful with their crystal clear waters reflecting the surrounding mountain peaks.
Apart from the glaciers, the natural beauty of the area is also impeccable. Surrounded by pristine forests, alpine meadows and streams and waterfalls, each season offers a different beauty. A complete picture scroll with mountain flowers in spring, green trees in summer, red leaves in full bloom in autumn and exquisite snow scene in winter.
In addition, Hailuogou is rich in biodiversity, with a variety of rare plants and animals, and you can get close to nature at any time during the tour. We also participated in some outdoor activities, such as hiking and photography. Walking on the winding path and breathing fresh air is really refreshing.

Chengdu - Hailuogou
The guide would send you from Chengdu to Hailuogou takes about 4 hours. Upon arrival, you could visit nearby scenic spots such as the entrance area and the surrounding forest and take a gentle hike to acclimatize.
When get tired, the guide would take you back to the hotel where you could have a relax at the Hailuogou Glacier Hot Springs.

Hailuogou for Glacier Adventure
Travel by car to Camp 3 for a close-up view of the glacier. You could enjoy spectacular views of the forests and mountains from the cable car.
You could also hike to the viewpoint and be able to further experience the awe-inspiring impact of the glacier and the surrounding mountains.
You could take the meal in the local restaurants when get tired. After tour, the guide would send you back to the hotel where you could take a consideration whether take a hot spring or not.

Hailuogou Cultural and natural exploration
Guide would send you to visit Moshi Ancient Town, a quaint town with historical buildings and Tibetan culture. You could visit the museum and so on to learn about the local history and culture.
If you still want to see more sights, you could take a short hike to the nearby scenic area (such as Yulongxi Mountain) to enjoy more natural beauty.
Then return to Chengdu's hotel at the end of the tour about 4 hours drive.
