Dazu Rock Carvings: Welcome to the breathtaking world of the Dazu Rock Carvings, where art and spirituality come together in a stunning display that dates back to the late Tang Dynasty (618–907) through the early Song Dynasty (960–1127). Picture yourself wandering the expansive Baoding Mountain, soaring 527 meters high, where you’ll spend an entire day marveling at the intricate stone carvings. Here, the U-shaped Big Buddha Bay reveals around 10,000 exquisite Buddha figures carved into a towering 500-meter cliff—each one telling its own unique story.
After breakfast at the hotel, the driver will pick you up and take you to Dazu Rock Carvings, which is about 2 hours' drive. Dazu stone carvings are located in Dazu District, Chongqing, is a world cultural heritage. Among them, the Bao Ding Mountain cliff statues are the largest and the most exquisite. The proportion of Buddhist statues is the largest. You can choose the ones you are interested in to visit.Finally, you will be driven back to your hotel in Chongqing city for about 2 hours. After the tour, the tour guide will send you back to Chongqing. You can arrange your own activities or experience the local nightlife with the tour guide.
