Your exciting journey through Chongqing Wulong Karst National Geopark begins with the breathtaking Tiansheng Three Bridges, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a rare geological wonder, and a first-class eco-tourism area showcasing classic karst landscapes The area celebrates the wonders of the world with Asia’s largest cluster of natural arches, carved by millions of years of natural art. Although these bridges are studded with a grand and fascinating atmosphere, they are relatively undiscovered with the public. They were featured in the movie Transformers and are beginning to attract more tourists and moviegoers from around the world.
You will be picked up by a private car and checked into your hotel. If you are interested and have time, you can walk around and taste the food of the mountain city. Then proceed to Hongyadong to enjoy the night view of Chongqing. As night falls, the street lights in Hongyadong are lit up, featuring the traditional architecture of “footstools”. You can also visit Chaotianmen Square, where the waters of the Jialing River and Yangtze River meet. You can also take a night cruise on the two rivers and enjoy a panoramic view of the lights and neon signs of the cities along the two rivers. After the tour, your guide will take you back to your hotel for rest.
You can hike the Hill City Trail to trace the imprint of old Chongqing and stroll through the stone alleyways. Afterwards, you will visit Chongqing People's Auditorium, the iconic building of Chongqing, stopping at the city landmark, and if you are interested, you can go across the street to Chongqing Museum of the Three Gorges of China to learn about the history of the Three Gorges and the changes of the mountain city. Proceed to Liangjiakou Crown Escalator to experience Chongqing's unique transportation. Afterwards, head to Liziba to experience the famous Liziba Through-the-Wall Light Railway, or head to the Lake Mining Hall to order a cup of tea, listen to an authentic Sichuan Opera and more. At night, go to the Yangtze River Ropeway to see the infinite scenery from above, have a bird's eye view of the Yangtze River and feel the three-dimensional transportation in Chongqing. At the end of the tour, your guide will send you back to your hotel.
After breakfast, depart from your hotel in Chongqing to Wulong, which takes about 2.5 hours drive. Arrive at the town of Fairy Mountain at noon to have lunch.Afterwards, go to visit the Fairy Mountain National Forest Park and you can choose to walk on the vast grassland and so on. Out of the scenic area, enjoy the local speciality food in Fairy Mountain Town. After the end of the tour, the guide will send you to Fairy Mountain town to check in the hotel.
After breakfast, we will go to Wulong Tiansheng Three Bridges Scenic Spot, which takes two and a half hours to drive 168km. The most shocking scene in the American film "Transformers 4", where Optimus Prime disguises himself as a dragon rider and rides the Tyrannosaurus rex "Steel Lock", a minion of the robot dinosaur squad, and shows his face with a sword - this scene was filmed at the Tiansheng Mountain Bridge Scenic Area of Wulong in an aerial filming.Lunch will be served in the town of Fairy Mountain, where you can savour the local cuisine. In the afternoon, go to visit Longshui Gorge Seam, the concentrated essence of karst canyon landscape. In the end, return to Chongqing city by car about 3 hours, and check in the hotel.
After breakfast, we will go to visit the old town of Ciqikou, a stone road, a thousand years of Ciqikou, is the epitome and symbol of the ancient city of Chongqing, which is praised as "small Chongqing". There are traditional performances such as oil pressing, silk drawing, sugar making, noodle pinching, Sichuan Opera, etc.At the end of the tour, your guide will transfer you back to your hotel or take you to the airport.
